Langtang Circuit
Based around the Langtang Valley region this trek is not as popular as the Everest and Annapurna areas because it lacks the 8,000m giants. However this trek does contain its own rewards and is convenient for travellers on their way to Kathmandu or Tibet.
Gosaikunda Helambu Trek
The trek also leads you through the Langtang National park which is the largest park in the Himalayan region, containing 45 villages and a great variety of wildlife.
Dunche (1,966m) is the trailhead; about 4 hours drive from Kathmandu . On the way, from Rani Pauwa there are good views of Annapurna 2, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. The inhabitants living around Dunche are Brahmins,Chhetris and Tamangs, and as you go further along you will find Sherpas with a different culture from the Everest region, living in their own way. The trek heads through Syabru, Sing Gompa, past the holy lakes of Gosainkunda, Tarke Ghayang and finally ends at Sundarijal near Kathmandu . The highest point you have to pass on this trek is Lauribina Pass (4,610m.) It takes 9 days to complete this trek and only organised (escorted) treks are possible as there are only few lodges around Gosainkunda. September-November and March-May are the best times to visit. It is worthwhile making this trek.

Itinerary
Day: 01 Arrive at Kathamndu airport transfer to hotel welcome drink offer by receptions.
Day: 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley Hanuman Dhoka Durbar square, National Museum , Shyambunath, monkey temple.
Day:03 Kathamdu to Dhunche (1,966m) After passing the Dhunche drive 1 hour you will get Syabru besi (1,462m), situated at the confluence of the Trisuli, Bhote Kosi and Langtang Rivers Overnight our camp will be Syabru besi.
Day: 04 Syabru besi to Lama hotel (2,380m).
Day: 05 Lama Hotel to Langtang Village Climb above the village, then follow the trail around the cliffs Ghore Tabela (3,048m) The valley becomes winder and you pass some Tamang village.
Langtang (3.307m)
Day: 06 Langtang Village to Kyanching Gompa (3,049m)
Day: 07 Rest day at Kyanching hiking in the surrounding areas.
Day: 08 Kyanching to back to same route to Lama hotel.
Day: 09 Lama hotel to Sing Gompa Chandan Bari (3,350m).
Day: 10 Sing Gompa to Gosiankunda (4,380m)
Day: 11 Gosiankunda to cross over into Helambu Ghopte (3,566m) Tharepati (3,597m).
Day: 12 Tharepati to Gul Bhanjyang
Day: 13 Gul Bhanjyang to Chesapani
Day: 14 Chesapani to Sundarijal drive by bus to Kathmandu .
Day: 15 Sightseeing Patan, museum, Bouddhanath, Shopping.
Day: 16 Sightseeing Bhaktapur, Old city Shopping, farewell Dinner. Pack belonging.
Day: 17 Pick up from hotel transfer airport departure to own destination.
